Season tickets

Wow what a missed opportunity for the club to cash in on last season. A tough start and we could be back to crowds of 21k for some games. Nothing more than Gibson deserves however
This happens every season the prices are ridiculous but o guarantee we Still shift a good 3,000 more, infact when we sign some half decent players they’ll be going like gold dust

If there's a waiting list for GRFZ why not extend it, or create another GRFZ in another part of the stadium?

GRFZ is a massively flawed scheme.
Obviously
But young fans starting out in Generation Red Family Zone continue supporting the club. They become longterm Riverside supporters. Too early to say lifelong though already many kids have been regulars for a decade.

Even if they did extend it, the scheme doesn't benefit teenagers. How many 14/15 year olds will want to attend the games with their parents realistically? At that age, you want to be going to the games with your mates.

The club are expecting teenagers/children to pay £234 for a season ticket, unless they decide to go with their parent and sit in the GRFZ (which it seems isn't an option anyway if it has sold out). Expecting a child who isn't earning a wage to pay that is unfair - unless the child is lucky enough to have parents who can afford to pay for it.

I don't know why the club wont consider categorizing the junior pricing and having an U18 price and an U16 price. Most clubs make it as cheap as possible for kids.

If you want to go to many away games fans will need a season ticket - following the Boro for many adult and teenage fans is not just the Riverside.

Posters on tend to post adult prices but the Club say most fans are not standard adult, well don't buy standard adult tickets.

Overall I do agree for new applicants prices are expensive. But do come down on renewal.

The numbers sold this Summer will depend on signings, if we get Archer, Ramsay, and Giles back or equivalents and hang onto Akpom. I would expect to sell a few thousand over the Summer.

Mu guess is walk ups will increase by £1.

An extension has already been trialled. It is being extended I believe.
I suppose it could be seen as future proofing with the next generation of young fans. They will also be stepping up the activities on offer before and during games in the concourse.

I had an email a few weeks ago to say that there was no longer a waiting list for GRFZ. I think the waiting list was in anticipation of a promotion to be honest. I rang yesterday and got me and my son seats in the GRFZ, bargain price.
It has been extended.

Can't get in there though.. i was on hold for 2 hours when early bird went on sale to ask to be put on waiting list.. they told me i need to buy elsewhere first and i wouldnt be guaranteed a seat these this season. They couldn't understand why i didn't want to buy elsewhere first, I'm not paying £230 for a 3/4 year old who will only be going Saturdays
Thats absolutely scandalous but there will be cretins on here defending the club

Not sure what you mean. Like I say, I rang yesterday and got tickets. There isn’t a waiting or at least wasn’t 24 hours ago.
Sorry, I mean the GRFZ has been extended around the corner with the North Stand - I don't mean that the waiting list has been extended.
