Season tickets

How many tickets are already sold? Doubt we will shift more than 200 new ones with these prices. Real shame as on the back on the first good season in years, we would have likely sold out if prices were in line with most other clubs in this league

Someone’s got to pay for Gibsons poor decisions every year I suppose

Oh well, let's get trodden on by all ans sundry then
I’m not saying that at all. You’re being trodden on whether you moan about it on here or not.

If people want the club to reduce prices at least for new season ticket holders, they need to stop paying the club’s prices. You might get somewhere if you organised a fan group to pressure the club in sufficient numbers. If a few thousand fans got together and pledged to buy season tickets only if they’re at the renewal or even early bird prices, the club might listen. Complaining about it on a message board will have zero impact if people are paying up.

£675 in the family zone.
Can't get in there though.. i was on hold for 2 hours when early bird went on sale to ask to be put on waiting list.. they told me i need to buy elsewhere first and i wouldnt be guaranteed a seat these this season. They couldn't understand why i didn't want to buy elsewhere first, I'm not paying £230 for a 3/4 year old who will only be going Saturdays

Fair enough.

Just over 19k. I reckon we might get 1 or 2k more at those prices. Such a shame.

I'm not sure why they even advertise those prices in there. They're not available to anyone it's fully sold out. Waiting list for them.
Not everyone renews and some people age out or move elsewhere in the stadium. Even if the waiting list takes all the seats, they still need to know what they’re going to be paying.

What are the second prices representing?

Will be interested to know how long the waiting list is, because I can’t imagine anyone moving out of that area through choice as it’s so cheap.

I’d go as far to say too cheap.

The gap between the renewal price and new buyer price is too large, however, I believe you could buy as a new buyer when the early bird offer was available and wasn't it only £100/200 more at that stage? Can't remember what the exact prices were.

Cheapest price for new buyers at this stage should be £540 max, although I'm not sure that would mean we would entice that many more to commit.

Let's be honest, there are a lot of fans who just aren't prepared to commit to buying a season ticket for the Championship. The club were clearly gambling on us getting promoted when they increased the early bird price, and now they've been snookered into raising the price for new buyers to a ridiculous amount, in order to stay in line with the pricing model.

If we'd gone up we would probably have been looking at £600 as the cheapest ticket.

Not sure where you got our prices from or if they are early bird prices but they are way out from what is advertised on the board. The cheapest adult ticket is £590 in the North, South and both corners, £666 for the East Stand and £751 for the West Stand.

As a current season ticket holder I got added to the waiting list in March and the club rang me back in May to say they had spaces so the waiting list isn’t as bad as I thought. Full marks to the club and particularly Yvonne Ferguson for helping with it.
