Season over?

It's a bit of a joke to be honest that we entered January 3 points or whatever behind the playoffs ! We then lost Latte Lath , our other forward is a kid who himself is injured. We then proceeded to sell Rogers and replace him with no one. We have signed 3 left backs this season and gave a new contract to another - who was then sent out on loan 6 months later. And the 3 we signed I'm not sure any are really up to the required standard.

How we felt we could carry on challenging the second half of the season, when we entered January knowing we needed a striker and that's before Injuries and the sale of Rogers.

We have zero pace as well

Our goals against are just as big a problem. We're the ninth top scorers in the league and have conceded the tenth most goals.
6th placed Sunderland have scored the same number of goals as us.
5th placed WBA have scored one less.

We would be fine if we didn't have to score every week just to get a draw.
I agree. But the way we play means that we’re never going to be water tight defensively.

Last season we just scored more than the opposition. Likewise, as we were so good in the final third, we kept the ball a lot more in more advanced positions. This in itself can help the defence.

Akpom was such an outlet and helped us build play from the back. Our backline is under more pressure this season vs. Last, it shows.

The loss of quality vs. Last season has hurt us in many ways. We just aren’t good enough to mount a serious push.

As people said about Akpom, the goals were the headline but perhaps his greatest strength was that you could smash the ball into him at halfway and he would control it and get it wide to build an attack.

Now that ball comes back at us with alarming regularity. Rogers was beginning to give us a grip but we were unable to retain his services.

Play this team wherever possible.

Give that front four an opportunity to click, because it could be our front four next season, and let's also have a proper look at Thomas and O'Brien, so we can make a judgement regarding whether we want to sign them on permanent deals.

Obrien! yet to see him play well for us. Howson needs to return asap

Sadly I think so. Far too much to do now to get sixth. So what do we need to see before the end of the season?

Azaz to settle in.

A decent run of form and fitness from Lath.

A few clean sheets.
It’s not over.. but we’ve got a lot of ground to make up. We have the capability.. but do we have the fitness?

I think Norwich will be the turning point.,

Whilst I don’t like see
Underwhelmed by his performance today but it was his first start since coming back from a long-term injury and I don't think he's actually played that many games for us in midfield.

I'd still like to see a bit more before I make a fair judgement.
but as a loan player. What’s the point? He cost Forest £10m we aren’t going to buy him.
