I still find it staggering people are trying to defend Schofield. He’s left a show he was on for 20+ years with zero pomp and ceremony, no goodbye, no thank you, just gone. The show may now have to be cancelled to remove the stain of his legacy.

There’s a whole host of former colleagues taking aim at him, Willoughby is doing all she can to distance herself from him, ITV has cut all ties with him as is his long-term agency.

Do people really think all that is over a relationship he had with a younger person?

There’s a lot more on this to come out, the media are currently reporting the tip of the iceberg.

But what do you know factually? It doesn’t look good at all but nothing factual has come out about any wrong doing apart from cheating on his wife and kids. To call him a groomer or paedo isn’t what should be done until convicted as such.
 
PS was asked was is having a relationship with the young man @ ITV in 2020 and he said no. Now he said he was. I expect ITV would have cancelled his contract in 2020 if he had told the truth even though what PS was not illegal. The PR would have been very negative for ITV, because of the very large age difference and the fact that PS was officially married. The public image of main celebrities of shows is critical in my opinion to contractual arrangement they have with their employers.

Its not the fact hes had an affair roofie its the fact hes had a sexual relationship with someone very young a teenager and hes in his fifties. If the relationship was with a man in his mid twenties thirties or forties there would be no fuss.

At the minute it seems to be a bit of a witch hunt....doesn't innocent until proven guilty still exist, everything at the minute is still just rumours. I mean the last time anything like this happened was with Caroline Flack, media went right after her and look what happened. And then after she died we learnt that a lot of what the media were portraying was untrue (like her being covered in her boyfriends blood when it was actually hers from slitting her wrists because of her mental health problems, problems she didn't want the public to know) and the hypocrisy of the media after that with the "be kind" campaign
And Holly as well...trying to come.out of this whiter than white...she can't say she knew nothing...they were so close they used to holiday together

Wasn’t going to join in but am wondering if PS is so confident that his partner didn’t want any publicity who persuaded him to sign an NDA as suggested. At the very it ensured PS had the ground prepared to lay down whatever ‘truth’ he wanted with his partner complicit in the lies. Both will be considered fair game. Wooton be on the case despite the backlash from Flack. ITV will be well lawyered up

If you see racism in any form then you have to call it out and report it and let the authorities deal with it.

If you believe Phillip Schofield has broken any laws then please report him to the police and let the authorities deal with it.

You may struggle with this but it’s all about doing the right thing.

Was the 18 year old a consenting adult? Was the 15 year old groomed? We don’t know the answer to either of these or what went on, nobody would defend him if he had groomed or had slept with the lad underage.

We need to avoid death by social media before we learn the facts.

He hits the age of consent theres absolutely nothing wrong. Legally your correct morally its absolutely repugnant behaviour.

There's an element of needing to know more info to undertand just how bad it is, but even if he broke no laws, there is still something pretty weird about getting him the job and starting the relationship at 18 and the link to his brother wont do him any favours, but that's besides the issue. Something can be legal, but still morally wrong - see Paul Breach.
