Can’t beat a breakfast from there on the weekend. Lovely place.Signals is not open Tuesdays.
Ah that’s unlucky, ya missed a good pot of tea there.
Rapps is my favourite and a regular haunt of mine. It’s been lovely seeing people able to sit outside on Milton Street at the various bars and cafes over the past couple of years and it’s a shame that they’ve not been allowed to carry it on this Summer (altho I appreciate the neighbouring residents may disagree).Rapps was open today, 2 minutes from Signals. On my hunt for a spot of lunch I walked down through the square, past the station and Sainsburys and onto Milton Street, I passed close to several eateries including Chocolinis, That Cafe, The Sitting Room, Signals (yes, closed), Real Meals, Taste.
Not sure where you were looking but all bang in the town centre and I spotted them and I’ve not lived here for 20+ years so I hardly know the places to go anymore. I’m sure most of those serve tea and coffee.

If I could afford it I would move there too mate and I'm an ex Marske lad.Saltburn is lovely.
If I ever get to move back north I would move there in a heartbeat.
Strange take but each to their own
I said to the wife recently if I could live anywhere that would be realistic it would be Saltburn. Fell in love with the place over the last few years. If I could afford it I would move there too mate and I'm an ex Marske lad.
Alessi's is one of my favourite restaurants I've ever eaten in. The food is always superb as are the waiting staff. Brilliantly priced too.
I'm not a fan of Helmsley. Nowhere to park, a few over priced cafes and very little to do. I like the castle but generally a **** day outWe live near Helmsley. There are shed loads of cafe's there. No need to go searching for them.
