I like both places too - and plenty to eat and do in both Helmsley and Saltburn.Have you not tried the big car park?
I like both Saltburn and Helmsley, lovely spots to have locally for a short stay, and plenty of places for a coffee in both.
Tarzy - reading that brings back so many memories. Lived in Kader Ave and had one across the stream. Thanks Randy.Fond memories of camping just outside of Helmsley with my dad and my brother when we were young kids. I try get over there now and again, mainly for the ice cream which is delicious.
Saltburn was always visited regularly when I lived at home been a Marske lad. Used to go down the black ash path and through the woods. Remember a great tarzy we made one weekend. Mate of mine broke his wrist after it snapped mid flight and he ended up in a nettle field
I haven't been inside but I've walked though a church grounds on my way to the council run heated open air swimming pool. Now that's a must for the kids.I like both places too - and plenty to eat and do in both Helmsley and Saltburn.
