Ryder Cup - Home Crowd

Yeah always welcome a bit of needle. Makes it sweeter when you win. As long as it doesn’t overspill into bad sportsmanship.

Its great if we win....Im sure it pushes our guys on to be honest. Love this competition

I've sat since 3pm watching it and have really enjoyed the golf. I haven't found the home crowd overpowering, although we all know they can be. I have to agree though, the lack of Europeans in the crowd is spoiling it. When the Europeans make a decent shot or win a hole there is only a smattering of clapping and that is similar to the home crowd at the Boro clapping a good goal from the away side.

Agree. A few Europen roars or cheers from other holes would help to lift other matches but they're totally non existant.

They are just not used to watching a game where there's a bit of banter.
When the Europeans are there they just rip the **** out of the "you only got one song" yanks .
It's the closest they get to terrace humour
