Rwanda plan unlawful!

Not only is it unlawful, it makes absolutely no sense financially.

Also, the Tories are quick to hide the fact that Rwanda can send THEIR asylum seekers here in return...
 
There is no big surprise there. ECHR said as much. It may push the government to withdraw from the pesky, interfering ECHR

In 2019 the most extreme government in our recent 100 years or so was elected by a swathe of so called traditional Labour voters

What we need is education mandatory on economic affairs in this country because we are truly screwed if we don’t
 
Surprise suprise. It was a terrible idea from the very beginning and clear to anyone with a bit of decency totally immoral.

I put up a thread the other day on asylum seekers. Britain is 16th out of 28 European countries in the destination of people arriving "illegally". The Tories are creating a diversion to stop people thinking about how bad they've been. Do not fall for it.

The sort of proposal that make me wonder just what sort of person would in the future vote for the party who tried to bring this in.

Now, perhaps the Tories could give up this hopeless proposal and try again to sort out the problem of people smugglers in a way that gets a thumbs up to at least one of two or the above categories. .
 
I mean , some people really have their heads in the sand on this issue .

This might not actually go ahead , but it’s not just here that’s getting sick of this issue , it’s europe too. I mean the likes of Finland and Poland are intentionally building walls to stop the flow of migrants from Belarus and Russia . Both these countries are literally weaponising migrants because they know allowing them in is going to destabilise the countries they are going to even further .

If europe doesn’t start sending these people back or start working on something that stops them getting into Europe in the first place , europe is going to go a lot more right wing . I mean for **** sake afd is doing quite well in Germany . The national front secured over 40% of the vote in the 2nd round of French elections too.Some on here will then wonder why the uk and continent is getting more right wing .
 
And what was our local MP Simon Clarkes response to the ruling I wonder?

He opines that we should leave the ECHR!

Well if you believe the polls, 30% ish of the electorate will despite the last 13 years. 😬😬
