Ok so what do you think is wrong with him then?Must be more to it than just that, he has also put in some of his best drives this season too

I think it's nailed on that George will let Lewis through, unfortunately.Be interesting how racey George is with Lewis does he let his future team mate through from the off or does he put down a marker to say you won’t find me as easy bottas.
Who knows, could be long Covid as a few have mentioned, car might be harder to drive this year or the pressure could be getting to him. Probably not something we will ever know but it’s certainly uncharacteristicOk so what do you think is wrong with him then?
I'd assume with the length of the straight and with DRS open the Merc should pass the Williams easy enough. I think George would be sensible enough not risk punting his future team mate off when he has no real reason to fight him too hard.Be interesting how racey George is with Lewis does he let his future team mate through from the off or does he put down a marker to say you won’t find me as easy bottas.
His target is p10, he has nothing to gain but everything to loose by defending against faster cars. Expect he is smart enough to let the mercs, bulls and mclaren past without loosing much timeI think it's nailed on that George will let Lewis through, unfortunately.
No one is saying ramHis target is p10, he has nothing to gain but everything to loose by defending against faster cars. Expect he is smart enough to let the mercs, bulls and mclaren past without loosing much time
A lot depends on the run down to the first corner (turn 2). If Lando makes it there first then I think he has a very good chance of the win. The Ferrari of Carlos is on the dirty side of the track so again it depends on his start. George normally doesn't start well but the Williams is quick in a straight line this weekend. And Lewis is again on the dirty side of the track. The Start will be interesting and then we will see how the race pans out.I'm looking forward to this one. What can Norris and Sainz do from the front row? How will Russell get on after anohter great qualy? Can Hamilton make the most of his rivals qualy position and get the win? Can Bottas make it through to the front? What can Verstappen & LeClerc do from the very back? Who will Mazepin annoy?
George said as much in the post qualification interviews.I'd assume with the length of the straight and with DRS open the Merc should pass the Williams easy enough. I think George would be sensible enough not risk punting his future team mate off when he has no real reason to fight him too hard.
I imagine he'll do the latter. He needs to join the team on a high so giving his new team mate a bloody nose will help. I don't think, over a race, he's get the car under him to fight a merc but certainly before drs kicks in he should fight Lewis all the way.Be interesting how racey George is with Lewis does he let his future team mate through from the off or does he put down a marker to say you won’t find me as easy bottas.
I know it has been caught up by the rest and possibly overtaken by Honda but that long run to turn 2 you would expect the Mercedes powered cars to be quicker than the ferrari.A lot depends on the run down to the first corner (turn 2). Odd decision. Why didn't they just do it yesterday?
Lewis to take a new engine at the next GP?
Williams and Merc are fairly equal in a straight line (same engine) it is just whether Russell can position his car correctly in the corners (due to his lack of downforce) to stop Hamilton getting a run on him. I dont think he will be able to do it very long. The Mercedes will be harder as they also have Merc engine but are better into and out of corners than the Williams.I'd assume with the length of the straight and with DRS open the Merc should pass the Williams easy enough. I think George would be sensible enough not risk punting his future team mate off when he has no real reason to fight him too hard.
I imagine it's that. Have someone at the back that the Dutch psychopath struggles to get past. It'll confuse Max to have a Mercedes he CAN'T crash into to help his championshipto give Vercrashen a problem he didn’t expect?
I thought that would trigger youReally
come on
and you say I’m biased
Yeah that's so true. No other team in the history of formula 1 has ever used a second driver to slow down a rival. Toto Wolff invented team orders. FactSo bottas the buffer strikes again
Why won’t Mercedes just let the two race without all these gimmicks.
poor for me but that’s Totto for you
