Rudy Gestede

Slow, plodding, nowhere near aggressive enough in the box, poor header of the ball.

Absolute donkey.
 
It is a weird one, I’ve never disliked Gestede as much as everyone else. Obviously he’s not good but he has certain attributes where if you play to them then he can cause problems. At the moment neither Britt or Fletcher are bringing anything to the team nor do they look like scoring.

If Gestede wins a few flick ons(providing we have runners from midfield) and he looks like he might bundle one in every now and again then he’s worth playing. Don’t think we are in a position to play Britt just because he’s scored goals in the past.

Because he can play sometimes. He’s had a couple good games since the new year
 
Gestede was one of the strangest signings we have ever made, given his history with a fan from our club and his poor record with Villa in the premier league.

However whenever he has been anywhere near fit, which has been rare in his nearly four years he has usually tried his best, something that can't be said for our £15m record signing.

He also seems popular among his team mates. Given our desperate situation I think he now deserves a run....I expect him to be injured for the rest of the season now!
 
if Gestede plays we need to supply him with good crosses: Coulson & Spence then have another striker playing off him for knockdowns - Tav...

TBH, if all strikers were fit, he'd not make the match day squad for me... - he'll not be here next season.. Fletcher will & would be starting if fit.
