Ross Stewart

If Ross Stewart is prepared to let his contract run down while playing for a club on the up, I think its pretty fair to say he has bigger aims in his sights than us.

Well he is deluded if he thinks that.
I may be in a minority but I hope we don't sign him, whatever the fee.

Bamford was proven one of the best players in the division, Watmore has always been a hot and cold 65minute footballer. I like him, great squad player to have, but not really someone you would want to rely on, every game, to get you promoted. Bamford has spearheaded Leeds to promotion and us to a play off.
 
The main thing we can learn from the last January windows - sign players who will actually improve the first team. We have enough players who can just do a job.

For me Stewart improves our first 11 so I’d be all for it.

Given he can also play on the wing, a position we're short in I seriously doubt he's going anywhere this season.

possibly speculation because he is out of contract in the summer.

Watmore has a great relationship with the club, the other players and the fans. I'm sure if we want him to stay, we can offer him what he needs from a financial perspective. The question is, do we have bigger irons in the fire? and if so, do we cash in on 1-2mill in jan?

I can't say I agree that he will improve our first team.

Totally agree with signing players to improve the first team.
But I'm not convinced Stewart is the answer.
Especially if 10M is the asking price.
