Yep agree thereApologies if already suggested as I haven’t read the whole thread, but I think the best thing we could do to honour his name and what he did for us would be from next season to make the white band on the home shirt non negotiable, year in year out.
That Could be quite a few Couldn’t it including sir bobby.Managed the Geordies, but deemed not good enough and forced out by the fans.

.The man who made me commit to following Boro, had been to a few games as a young lad but was a Leeds fan as was following a Yorkshire team having come back to UK after dad left RAF.
As grew into a teenager the news of him coming had me buy a season ticket what a season 73-74 was, just wish he had loosened Amers pockets when big John was nearing the end of his career.
A top top football man, RIP Big Jack
As always AM you summarise perfectly. RIP Big JackThe word legend is much overused but in Big Jack’s case absolutely deserved, as a player, manager and man, as a player he was the bedrock of a Leeds team that competed at the highest level for a decade and won the greatest honour in the game, as a manager he redefined the sporting culture of a nation and provided Boro fans with some of the best football we will ever see, and as a man he never lost touch with his roots, who he was and the importance of family.
RIP Big Man, the world is sadder for your passing but better for you being.
