RIP Borobarmy

Oh my word - I am so saddened by this news. Borobarmy delivered an Ayresome goalpost on his fire truck to Dorman Museum for an exhibition we put together of memorabilia. Typical of his style I think. We were actually together at the Fly Me office when news broke of the twin towers disaster.
Sorry. Am taken aback by this. Many, many condolences etmfc and to all the family and friends.
How very sad.
RIP

Condolences etmfc, I also lost my brother very recently.
I knew Sean from St Mary's College back in the 80s had some interesting nights out in the Madison with him.
I recently hooked up with him again via the fmttm forum.
He said he was really happy and in a good place, it may be a small comfort.
I have put on some OMD and Ultravox songs and have had a sing along in his honour. UTB !

Sorry to you and your family for your loss. He seemed like a good bloke. His post the other day about the storm had me in stitches, even showed my Mrs the post as I found it funny the way he wrote it. I feel genuinely sad about this news, although I don't know anyone on here personally, reading people's post and having conversations or a laugh with people on here daily(and the old board) makes it feel like I know the people on here.

Absolutely gutted to hear this very sad news.
One of my favourite posters on here and will be sadly missed.

I'm just about to set off to Sydney after not being able to visit for two years due to Covid to see family
and friends but this news has certainly taken the shine off the trip.
Often will I be thinking of him.
Condolences to you etmfc and all your family and friends.
RIP Borobarmy.

It is with great sadness that i'm posting to let you know that my beloved brother the poster you know as Borobarmy passed away yesterday evening (monday). He was a passionate Boro fan and enjoyed posting on this forum. I'm broken hearted Rest in Peace Sean
