Riley

No it’s not, just because you and your snowflake mates deem it to be a definitive ‘injury’ doesn’t make it so, seems to me it’s the sort of ‘injury’ that the player can decide when it’s better, no scans or X-rays required. Besides what was wrong with pain killing injections, 20 years ago playing for old school managers he would have been playing way sooner.

And there you have it. Treacherous swine.

Wait a minute? “Back out”? Flip it, because Australia is opposites of here, and what do you get? Yep, Outback.

Clearly this is a coded message. But I feel I’ve only identified part of it. So very frustrating. Going back down the rabbit hole to find the references to kangaroos, lamingtons and Dr Karl Kennedy to give us the complete picture of what this so-called Riley is up to.

The truth is out there.

I am not in the least bit shocked that certain fans are once again making up conspiratorial nonsense about players faking injuries.

No idea why fans do it.

Even when they're told exactly what the problem is, some will pretend that it's a cover up.
Well summed up, it's pathetic

I agree, it's depressing that just when we get a much-missed player back, it's almost as if people are trying to unsettle him. However, to be fair, there were rumours at the end of the last transfer window about bids from Spurs and the like, and Carrick leaving him out was hard to fathom. I confess I was disposed to give those rumours credibility at the time, because for me he's an automatic pick for his energy and guile.

I'm just happy to see him back for now. I'd be gutted to see him leave because for me he's a cult hero who I expect to see win promotion with us one day.

We are stronger for having him back fit as an option.
He looked good yesterday on his sub appearance - and well up for it.
Gave the whole place even more of a lift. He does bring that calmness and quality. Shame he’s off to the Asia cup next week for us but he will be be another big boost when he’s back. Hope he gets a start in one of the next 2 before he goes.
