I don't understand the RF hate, they try to create an atmosphere, they try new songs, some might not work out but some do and that's how you end up with the "Oh Wilder said" song.
I rarely go now but when I do it is very noticeable that the atmosphere is much better than it has been when we've been in similar positions in the football pyramid against similar opponents and that is down to them.
They don’t but are they singing for themselves or do they want the rest of the stadium to join in? Nobody is criticising the effort. It’s honest feedback explaining why certain songs don’t work.
He must have had a few too many beers last night then. There was a point where he was the only voice we could hear and a few people around me commented about how out of tune he was. That lad with the megaphone is actually an opera singer in his spare time.
I have respect for RF for being the only group that challenged him. When I 1st followed Boro
It wasn’t very good
But my father always told me
The Boro ‘s in your blood
So we will follow Boro
Until the day we die
Then we’ll join the Ayresome Angels
In the Holgate in the sky .
Allez Allez Allez
I like it , I like it , I like it !

How dare you speak against the Twelfth man (Adult RF)If you don't like the songs in the south stand stop whining about it, get in the north stand and make some noise. It's like a cross between a Morgue and a library most matches.
You could hear the drum throughout the game. Without that, it would have been a "library".RF are always going to split opinions but you only have to look at the crowd last night. The fans are unhappy with a lot of things and it was shown in the attendace. I know of at least 6 ST holders who didnt go last night. Take RF out of the ground and you'd be able to hear the players talking to each other. The only way to improve the atmosphere is to play well and win games, 1 out of 2 last night (Thank God for the red card eh)! You cant force an atmosphere which I think is what RF dont understand, they need to read the crowd better but they're also on a hiding to nothing.
im not a massive fan of the drum or the megaphone but without Red Faction the Riverside would be even more depressing than it is at the momentYou could hear the drum throughout the game. Without that, it would have been a "library".
That’s my biggest issue they seem more about exclusivity with their own songs scarves and logos, I get the ultra culture but I think it would be better if they let more into their domain. Some of the songs are so insular and contrived that no one has a hope of joining in.They don’t but are they singing for themselves or do they want the rest of the stadium to join in? Really?Red Faction are generally very good, but I have noticed a big disconnect between them and the rest of the South Stand this season.

I do like RF but I think they need to be less exclusive esp with songs etc.
It wouldn’t hurt tbfA song sheet?
South West so can look straight across at Red Faction.Really?
Where do you sit?
