I thought she did well last time against Brum I think, but like every other referee she is one big iffy decision away form being slated.

I thought she done well last time also, we've had far far worse male referees in the past. Every referee, regardless of gender, can easily get decisions wrong. I wouldn't like to do that job.

I used to know a ref in Scotland, he occasionally ran the line in old firm games, he wore quite thick glasses - didn’t half get some stick.

Can’t see why gender makes any difference when officiating a game.

For me she got the same level of abuse a male referee gets.

Equality💪🏼.

I think she gave us a few soft ones in the first half, and gave a few against us that I thought were poor decisions, so about even. That'll do for me.

Had a good game really - the only thing i was tutting at was when she let their lad who was injured in the first half, walk all the way from the far side of the pitch to the main stand, instead of going off at the nearest touch line. It took almost a minute for him to walk from one side to the other.

The corner was the Lino's call there is no way the ref could clearly see that it had crossed the line (and it had)

Good refereeing performance again from Ms Welch.

She was central on the edge of the 18 yard box wasn't she? The lino looked to be behind play and about were she was, but obviously 35 yards further to the right.

It was annoying, but if neither of them knew for sure, they couldn't give it.

Then again as he was actually injured it would have been pretty cruel to make him limp right around the ground.

Linesman on the west side/halfwayline must have seen it, I did and he was stood near me. I agree goalie was shielding the ball, their view may have been blocked but his wasn't.
