Really like look of silvera (posted start of season)

Rodgers got into some good positions but never got played in. Held the ball up well, never really got any decent service and crossing was awful.

But yeah, let's write him off after one game.

No one’s writing him off but he isn’t good enough to play up top as the key man but that’s not his position so not his fault.

Doesn't matter if it is or isn't his position. You can't judge a player on one game, a game where he was denied any decent service.

When a player openly admits finishing is not his strong point and CF is not his most comfortable position.........

Always struck me as being signed as one of the three behind the striker.

Early days, let's see how it pans out 👍

Exactly not his fault

Barlaser running through the treacle all game. His feet execute what his mind decided to do about 10 seconds previous

Silvera did more in 20 mins on the left, than Mcgree did in 70 he looked of it today.
Silvera was the only bright outfield player on the day.
We will improve and i'm sure there will be more additions this month.

I’ve said this before, but I just don’t think McGree is very good. He’s busy, but I can’t think of anything he’s particularly good at.

Silvera and Dieng were the only positives to come out of the match. McGree isn't playing in the same position as last season, he stayed mostly on the left whereas last season he was floating around all over.
McNair should be given lessons on how to stay on your feet. you get taught that as a schoolboy.
Rogers tried hard but was starved of any service, we don't have any creativity in the midfield and as for Barlaser if he can't make a simple 5 yard pass he should be sold. The number of times he gave the ball away was unbelievable.

What I don't understand is why when we are 1-0 down, he didn't throw on Gilbert, what's the point of having a forward on the bench and you're losing then you bring on a winger.

We desperately need a new forward and Akpom back. If we don't get a new LB and forward in by the end of the window we will be struggle to make the top 10 never mind top 6.

That moment where he received it back to goal and spun, completely skinning their defender in the process was sublime. And much welcomed having watched crooks and Rogers turn into trouble time and time again.

He likes taking people on by the looks of it - impossible to say how well he will do on that little cameo though. That side will get regular beatings though as it’s totally imbalanced with players who simply aren’t good enough and others playing out of their best position. If we line up like that at Coventry they will batter us

I don’t want to write Barlasser off already but he looked poor today. Lost count of the amount of times he gave the ball away.

I’d like to see something like this

Forss
Silvera Rodgers McGree
