The play offs are going to be a step too far. Strikers that don't score enough and we have to spend the summer making changes up front.

Lets hope we can keep hold of Tav, McNair, Fry and Jones and build next season around them. If we spend wisely in the summer we will be up there at the top end of the table next season. UTB.
 
Thats been coming all season when you do not score & be clinical , they were coming into it for about 10 mins previous to scoring but we never put our foot on the throat of bad teams
 
Just lacking that bit of quality in key positions up front and certainly in goal, but we got it badly wrong today, I still fancy us to get in the play offs though.
 
I think we will just lose out sadly , for the reasons seen today, we are not ruthless enough to go & force a result on a bad day
 
Poor today, but anything can still happen. We had a tough game Wednesday v Fulham and Hull last played v Huddersfield last Friday. Anyone can beat anyone in the Championship. Whatever happens we are in a much better shape than this time last year or the year before.
 
Just highlights how important Jones is to us. Thought early on Tav was bright and getting in behind their defence but we seemed to be playing in front of them for the rest of the game. Had no idea how to break them down.
 
Hull did a proper number on Boro today. They played with 5 at the back without the ball and often had 5 across the midfield too. It's obvious how they've gone 6 games unbeaten and only conceded once away from home.
 
It’s really too early to call the play offs - we will be there or there abouts. Personally I think we will get a playoff position.
 
Massive over reaction to today's result! Booing at the end and some absolute bell end next to me screaming about Wilder. You get games like that throughout the season, we just weren't at it. At the start of the season if you told me that with 6 games left we'd still be in with a shout of playoffs, I would have bitten your hand off. 6 massive games left, if we don't go up we've got the foundations of a good team, just let wilder add his touch with his first summer transfer window and look forward to a good go next season.

Great post that mate. I couldn't believe the boos. People seriously need to give their head a shake for that.

Some of our fans are fickle. You’ll have numpties calling for his head if we miss the playoffs.
 
Plenty of teams playing each other in the top 6-8, so it’s still in our own hands. We desperately need Jones back though, and a striker to find a little run of form. Oh and Fry to be fit quickly!
 
It's not over yet, but we've a very thin squad and we're hugely over-reliant on Jones, but we knew that all along (see also Howsonj, to a slightly lesser degree).

Too many look kaded to me and that's the result of playing a pressing game and not having the squad to rest players, other than the forwards.

There plenty of points going to be dropped yet - I think the next two games are critical though.
