It's a lot simpler than that. BL claims to be in the know. It's not just him passing on a rumour it's him claiming that he has insider knowledge that this is a target. He's getting worse. Buttner was bad the other week and he looked silly. Jovetic was worse. And Falcao is just a hattrick of fantasy.

And Nobby encouraging him is pretty irresponsible too. As BL's behaviour over Yusuf was very unsettling.
 
Just so we're all clear, Neil Warnock will not be signing a 35 year old Radamel Falcao on 80, 20, or even 1 grand a week to play up front in the team that finished 10th in the Championship alongside Uche Ikpeazu 😂 😂

Absolutely ridiculous, entertaining stuff though.

Credible source, get it right. I think most people’s idea of a credible rumour is one that…a.mentions Middlesbrough Football Club or b. does’t involve a player on eighty grand a week when we’re looking to pay about eight!!

Like I said, he's a big name, he's available, he's playing in Europe, he's obviously not going to be on £80k/week anymore....a few boxes ticked
All that's missing is the link to Boro and The Legend has done that 👍

So what. Why is everyone so bothered where it comes from. Falcao, Jovetic, whoever, its a little bit of excitement in these dark times and then the reality hits that we have no chance of signing these players. Then you think back to all the times we have pulled a massive signing out of the bag. Whoever would have thought we would have signed the world's most expensive player on a free transfer.
 
If I do get a bit of inside info I tend to post in on oneBoro, as its a lot more genuine than on here. It will usually find its way on to here anyway.

This board has gone downhill lately though, just like the old board did, due to the amount of "characters" (the only one any good was Dennis Wick). There's far to many politics and Brexit threads, and if you have a different opinion you are usually insulted and on many occasions actually bullied.

Anyway, this thread has gone completely off topic. There is no way in the world we are going to be paying anyone those sort of wages. There's even people on twitter now claiming that they have inside info on this now, and can only guess it's the same people posting on here.

Yes sadly, and so do I. Your focus on Block and Coluka has now got what you wanted.

The board is awash with transfer drivel, most of it coming from this BL character, or the self appointed court jester Norbert. I don't really care about them.
I don't find them funny, I don't find them clever, I don't understand how anybody else does, but each to their own on those threads that they originate; they are easy enough to avoid.
But, they pollute so many other threads that then get dragged down the rabbit holes.

Some good posters, some of them with the highest number of posts and reactions have now left the board.
I think that is pretty sad.
Would the board members really prefer to have the idiots Boro Legend and Nobby Barnes than great posters like Coluka and Block?

I know its transfer silly season and it always gets a bit daft, but these threads are like having Jim Davidson write series 4 of Afterlife.
