Quite A Few Turkish Barbers Lad !!!

Whenever I've talked to a "Turkish" barber they're actually Kurdish, same with the people in the hand car washes. They always seem sound.

So I won't say which one but go to one . I went in holiday early June so had a trim with the works. Young Turkish lad stood behind the barber watching what was going on. Got chatting and it was his 1st day so was watching how it all works.
Got back off holiday and walked past said barbers . He is on his own cutting hair with his clippers with 2 people waiting.

Or just avoiding the card company taking 4% per transaction plus monthly fees etc
Don't think anyone pays 4%, some old deals can be high but Even stuff like zettle is a one time fee then 1.75% fee per transaction & no monthly fee

More complex merchants may have higher fees depending on setup but wouldn't need that for a sole trader

The machines are £29

Another thing is probably the lack of tips with people paying by card.

My barber used to be £8 or £9 I think, but only took cash, and I bet 9 times out of 10 people just gave him a tenner

Went to one in Marmaris and while l was sat waiting the guy said did I want a beer. Red hot day said yes he shouted a you boy in and off he scuttled and brought me a cool one. While cutting my hair he got me another. No extra charge. That's my type of barbers👍

Bit like pizza and fried chicken shops?
Not so much because there is money going out buying produce which has to kind of match up with money coming in ie spend £100 on chicken HMRC would expect £300 or whatever coming in on sales

With a barber/salon/carwash there's hardly anything going out, just money coming in ie easy to exaggerate and therefore launder

that's where the invisible chicken breeders come in

Most of the Darlo ones are Kurds.
They are and you should never try to polish one.

Always seems to be a lottery as to which "number" they will use, I usually go number 4 but sometimes (from the result) it is hard to believe they used the guard at all. Which just makes it last longer, though the Mrs doesn't like it when it is too short.

So how much is a 'good' haircut now?
I just do my own with a clipper.
By the way anyone remember Ron Chilvers in North Ormesby - went there as a kid.
