Quite A Few Turkish Barbers Lad !!!

Whenever I've talked to a "Turkish" barber they're actually Kurdish, same with the people in the hand car washes. They always seem sound.

It must be a style of barber shop. I have a "Turkish" barber who is actually Algerian. Really nice guy

Barber i use is Kurdish. £10 for a normal haircut £15 the whole lot absolutely brilliant.

Also use a Kurdish restaurant where you pay £8-10 for fantastic food.

Thing is if these lads didn’t set up their own businesses the Gammons would start crying about them sitting around on benefits.

There are some who aren’t totally legit though and the local police have rightly cracked down on them, named and shamed.

It's also rarely the lads who work in them that are dodgy, more the organised crime groups that operate these types of business,

One of our local Turks is from Kurdistan, very amiable chap but £2 dearer than the old bloke who cuts my hair. The youngsters seem to favour the 'Turkish' lads over the local barbers.

I was in Carlow a while back, the barber shop I passed was called Paddy the Turk.
