Yes we are still going to have to win all 3 games realistically given the other teams around us. A draw tonight means it’s back in our hands only if we beat Stoke by 2 goals or worse if Sheff U draw big say 2-2 then we would have to score 4 to go above them. Let’s hope for a QPR win or a 0-0 draw at the very least.

If we have 3 games left to play then I think we'll do it, as the rest of the teams only have 2 left ;)

I’ve just backed Sheffield as well to put the mockers on them. The first time I’ve wanted to lose a bet!
 
Few rumours on twitter about Billy Sharp being injured again, that would be a boost to our hopes of them dropping points.
 
In prime Blades territory here so I'll have to scream quietly when the fourth QPR goal hits the back of the net.

Hopefully means a relatively early/quiet start in my local as the locals will be holed up pre-drinking in the sports bars. :)

I do that regularly (not just Sheff Utd, but quite often bet against Boro too). If the result goes the way I want it to, then I'm happy. If it doesn't then I win some money, and it softens the blow.

However SU aren't actually that long odds for tonight, and so unless you're going to stick a load of money on, it's not that great an incentive.

I did this during our promotions season. Backed a tenna in the hope of losing but if not at least I got some money out of it

Its not the thought of winning that's the incentive, its the thought that I know I never win football bets. Also I did it as soon as we beat Cardiff and they were a shade under evens (10/11 I think) which is probably a decent price.
