QPR vs Sheff United Match Thread

QPR can still do it themselves but they're going to have to beat Sheff Utd by a 3 or 4 goal margin at least to have a realistic chance.

Hopefully that will motivate them to just go for it and they'll give Sheff Utd a proper game.

Fingers crossed 🤞

Although not confident. They have looked bang average in recent weeks. Also just announced the Gaffer is leaving in the summer (extra on the beach)

A QPR win would definitely make things interesting. I'd like to at least go into the PNE with a chance.

I’d support QPR over Leeds anytime Mr C.
Ha, was waiting for someone to say this, didn’t take long 😂

In all honesty, (I don’t normally believe people who start a sentence that way) I would support Newcastle, Sunderland and Man Utd over Leeds tbf. Leeds are the exception that proves my golden rule. They are forever ring fenced in my hatred of clubs, you have my word on that.

Paul Heckingbottom insists United aren't looking beyond Friday's trip to QPR but acknowledges three points in the capital would pile the pressure on those behind the Blades in the table ahead of the weekend's fixtures.

Heckingbottom's side head to Loftus Road two points ahead of Middlesbrough and three points in front of both Blackburn and Middlesbrough and the Blades boss is fully aware of the importance of a positive result in London, especially given the midweek maximums secured by Rovers and Boro.

The manager has always felt the race for a play-off berth would go down to the wire but wants to see his players use any pressure and nerves they may feel in a beneficial manner to ensure the campaign is extended.

On Mark Warburton's R's, Heckingbottom believes Friday's hosts will be positive in their approach, despite a top six finish seemingly being beyond them given their inferior goal difference and a six-point deficit with two games to go.

And indeed everybody’s word outside Leeds on that (in all honesty)

Weirdly I've gone the other way......I'm trying not to get messed up by the outcome....as mogga would say...it is what it is....what it is...what it is....whatever happens happens...
I'm turning off the painful tap of hope and replacing it with the fountain of realism.
