Have a good one everyone in Scarbs tonight (I’ll wave).

Rum and coca colas to come later

Well that was simply life affirming. Jarvis has well and truly still got it. One of the happiest gigs I have been to. Biblical rain didn't dampen spirits - I could have stayed all night.
Agreed. Wonderful night. Had a tear in my eye with all the crowd joining in with the anthemic songs. The monsoon rain stopped at the perfect time just as they came on stage. Jarvis is one hell of a front man. Love the venue. IMG_2139.jpeg

Great photo and excitement levels ramping up for Saturday now!

I do wonder if they'll change the setlist up for Sheff. Perhaps not given the number of touring musicians involved etc.

Last time at the arena was their longest ever gig, clocking in at 2 hours 38!

He had to finish bang on 10:30 so was unable to do Razzamatazz for the encore. Other than that the set list has been consistent so far throughout oi the Tour so far.

Ticket available tonight, outside now if anyone wants....I know very short notice 🤷‍♂️
Sorry gone.

Sat in our Premier Inn after tonight's gig. Fantastic performance. He squeezed in an extra couple of songs after Common People (reported to be the finale)

PS if you're in Sheffield on Sunday and like Richard Hawley , go into Fagans Bar it's his local.Had a few pints in there with him....he's just one of the lads,by "had"a pint I mean I stared at him across the bar while he got smashed.
Also order food it'll last you through the week.

Great pub Fagans. Changed hands recently but the Guinness is still exceptional. Still have the Irish folk music out the back too I think.

Caught up with Hawley in there last week, wife knows him through work. Was on good form.

Can't wait for tonight. If anyone is getting down early you could do much much worse than heading to St Mars Brewery, about 30 minutes walk from the venue and in my opinion, one of the best breweries in the country. Particularly good on European style lagers and Belgian styles 👍
