Are we capable of getting into the top six and winning promotion through them.
Recent form suggests not.

No, the two teams who don't make the top 2 out of the top 4 at the moment will most likely thrash the two joining them in the playoffs, as it stands. However if we develop, resilience under pressure and become more determined at the back in the remaining 3 months who knows what will happen?
I hope they put the the picture up of the Mackems at our ground with the corner flag, in the changing room and training ground to remind our players of the hurt, just silently look at it every day and build the determination to have our day!
Understand the sentiment but the play offs are definitely not a lottery. Usually the better teams win the semi final and go to Wembley. If we make the play offs..they can be a bit if a lottery, the odd bad decision here, bit of good fortune (my god I feel we are due some?) And you can make it.

Except when it really matters, when we're expected to win, if there's the slightest of pressure on us, when the opposition is mean to us, when we play Blackburn or Coventry, etc etc.We are capable of beating most teams on the day.
Yes. It's football and it's the Championship and it's the playoffs. Anything can happen.Except when it really matters, when we're expected to win, if there's the slightest of pressure on us, when the opposition is mean to us, when we play Blackburn or Coventry, etc etc.
We'd need to put a run of form together, and realistically then win three games in a row, under enormous pressure to deliver, against two teams who are better and more consistent than us.
Can anyone really see us doing that?
Agreed, but there is quite a few examples of teams who really shouldn't have won them but managed it over the years.Understand the sentiment but the play offs are definitely not a lottery. Usually the better teams win the semi final and go to Wembley.
We have never won a game at WembleyWe’re going to do a Huddersfield from a few years ago. Get beat 14 times, still make the play offs and win on penalties at Wembley!
