Prince Charles

When my grandad was in hospital last year my nana was allowed to go in and see him throughout the week, then as he lost consciousness the family were allowed in to see him and again a day later when he had passed. So clearly people experience different rules

Tbh I had no idea what it was about, had to read a few posts to get the gist. I'm neither a royalist, nor do I hate them. They're just sort of there, a mild anachronism to me - no more, no less.

Id say that i'm a republican in the political terms of reference, but as people i dont wish Betty and her family any hatred or malice.

i'm of the view that they should be treated far more humanly than they are having to live at the moment, its inhumane to have her working at 90 odd years of age, i find it hard to understand how folk who say they love her and support her, expect her to put a shift in everyday - thats not love, in my book.

i was surprised to read today that Charlie is 72 years of age, and he hasnt started to clock in for his graft as 'king'...

Did you know that Amanda Holden’s parent wasn’t seriously ill when you posted this

I am sure that as a law abiding citizen Ms Holden is truly devastated.

A remarkable coincidence that this family health issue at her parents’ house in Bude arose on the weekend of her 50th birthday celebrations.

Remarkable too that this family health issue improved to enable her to travel back to London from Bude after only one night. If it was serious I would have thought it would have needed her to stay longer. But I guess that’s the effect of Amanda’s calming influence.

Next time there’s is a serious health issue n your family, folks, don’t call for an ambulance or a doctor, call for Amanda, her presence will cure you within 24 hours.
Given that her mother was NOT IN HOSPITAL nor had even called in a doctor and had made such a miraculous recovery that Holden left the following morning to go back to London, not to mention the incredible coincidence of it being her 50th birthday, I’m pretty sure I was right .

But don’t let that get in your way of your bitter hatred of a 72 year old man seeing his ill 99 year old father IN HOSPITAL , Dribble.

Boromart, you really need to calm down pal, live and let live, you are behaving like a massive KAREN.
Yes. The line “wait and see” if he clogs it is rather distasteful. Usually find myself agreeing with Boromart on a lot he has to say - but not with this.

Live and let live? If they were an innocuous family that hadn't stolen from the people, then yeah, live and let live, but that isn't the truth.

I wish him no direct ill, but he has lived very long and very well funded life, of our collective wealth. That wealth didn't come from nowhere, it's from the public coffers, and thus has deprived other services of income. So sympathy is in short supply when I think how many lives would have been saved by funding the NHS instead of funding their lavish lifestyle, allowing them to rewrite laws to protect their wealth, to pass wealth through their family without inheritance tax, to own land that should belong to the state and make money off it, rather than funding life saving services. On a basic human to human level, yes his dad is very ill, but he's had a great life, thanks to you and I. Like I said, I don't directly wish him ill, but I'd rather the tax money he has soaked up over 73 years was distributed to support everyone. If that offends anyone, sorry, but that's how I feel.
