Preston v Sunderland.

They aren’t world beaters but have had our number for the last 5 meetings or so.
Yep they have, they are a bogey side of ours. But that doesn't mean I really think he's a top manager. I just think he's done a good job at Coventry and now for me seems to be on the way out rather than another play off push. I have nothing against him but wouldn't want him as our manager either.

Watched the last 10-15 minutes. Sunlun looked a bit better with Mundle and Roberts on, but I don't recall them making the keeper work. Still a point away from home is (usually) a decent result. The exception being when leading 1-3 and missing a penalty. Considering PNE are struggling, who knows? As said above they have some testing games coming up.

Poor advert for the champo tonight.

I was flicking between games so probably missed some good stuff but what I saw was very scrappy.

We are the best side that I have seen in the champo this season. Our passing is levels above the vast majority.

Interesting to compare the championship this season and last.

I'm big enough to admit Sunderland have had a good start. However, after 14 games last season, Ipswich had 7 more points, and Leicester had 9 more points than Sunderland have now.

They're doing well, but there are no outstanding sides like there were last year, and even Leicester and Ipswich were ousted from the automatic places on occasions as the season progressed. Sunderland have some big wobbles to come.

I turned over after watching Millwall win was good to see Josh Coburn do well off the bench. But Sunderland in the last 15 mins were holding on they seem defensively sound but attacking wise lack. They got a very testing run of games coming up on paper see where they are by time January comes around
