I'm gonna give you a few.

Steffens performance was great, if it wasn't for him we'd have been battered
We look Miles better as a back 4.
Crooks and Jones looked miles better today.

It may not seem alit, but it's more than after Millwall!
 
I am not sure 4 at the back will make a long term difference. We have seen thundering second half performances this season with 3 at the back too.

Not sure what the answer is.

Crooks should have been hooked at half time along with McNair. You can't polish a turd and certainly not two of them.
 
Steffen was our best player by a country mile. He is clearly getting frustrated by things in front of him though.

Crooks was awful again. How he plays 90 minutes week after week is beyond me. McGree is no better though.

Jones looked brighter than I’ve seen him in a long time second half.

We look absolutely miles better playing 4 at the back. We were creating overloads in wide areas with the full backs pushing on and midfielders drifting wide.

Akpom missed a chance from 2 yards out that had an xG of 0.95. I don’t remember ever seeing a chance with a higher xG.

We had a free kick 20 yards out off centre in the 87th minute when losing a floated it to the back post 🤦🏻‍♂️

First half was a car crash from start to finish.

Dijksteel is not a midfielder/winger
Crooks looked like he couldnt be arsed until Jones came on
Lenihan flaps more than a chicken
Mcnair is a donkey
Mcgree just runs around like an excited puppy... doesnt offer anything
Akpom is not the answer to our scoring problems
STOP DUCKING ABOUT WITH THE BALL AT THE BACK!!!! Sick of the amount of times the ball went 2 yards forward them 20 yards back without any press from the opposition.


Positives from the second half

Jones looked hungry and was actually running at the defence for the first time in a long time
Crooks showed a bit more fight as soon as Jones came on... he must really like him
we actually looked really decent in the second half until the subs came on and slowed it down again

yeah I thought we should have stuck with the same team a little longer as we seemed to look like it was a matter of time before we scored.
 
As Maddo said last week there were no positives at Millwall but I thought we were unlucky not to get a point after a good second half display. Steffan seems to getting into some good form, Jones played well, some clever interplay between muniz and watmore as well that could develop into a partnership. Just start with a back 4 and let's see what we can do.
 
I thought 1st half was pretty poor from us, 2nd half much better, steffan kept it at 2 goals but could of been 4/5. Thought we deserved at least a point, given our second half play but it wasn't to be.
 
Howson was class
Crooks played really well despite his hernia
Hackney got more minutes under his belt
Muniz is class and it looks like he loves the boro
Watmore had a good game
all of our subs looked great
Jones, Bola, McGree, Akpom, Forss

How close did we come to an equaliser!!
2nd half we were miles better
Leo appears to be growing into his role..
