I would argue 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 aren’t positivesA few positives for me:
1: It puts to bed the argument that we can play a different way/ be more defensive, which would give us a better chance of getting points (we had 5 defenders on here, it didn't work)
2: Good to see Chuba back
3: Further confirms that our midfield three, especially Mowatt, are not good enough (the other two could be ok, if we got in one really good one, like Tav), hopefully this incentivizes the recruiters to pull their finger out, and Gibbo to pull his cheque book out.
4. Further confirms any formations with two in centre mid won't handle any team, as our three cannot handle some of the poor teams
5: It confirmed Howson should not be on any set pieces
6: Further confirmation that we miss Lenihan's leadership
7: Proves how good Gyokeres is, most of us already knew this though
8: Muniz played well, probably could have had a goal but did well to get a couple on target.
9: Jones did well, when he came on
10: Proves we need to get the first goal, or we're in trouble, so we need to play a way that creates the most opportunities to get that first goal
Come on, Watmore has a couple of faults, he played for Sunderland, he’s ginger, but he does run around a lot closing opposition defenders and goalkeeper down, this is a good thing isn’t it?Watmore ran about a lot, we now know why Tommy Smith was a free agent, Crooks woke up second half for the first time in a while and Akpom’s fit!
Lovely kit
You've forgotten the main positive....My foot feels a bit better today and I enjoyed watching the bats in my back garden just before it got dark. Those are both positives for me.
Huh? We’ve been playing the same way and getting the same results?!?!A few positives for me:
1: It puts to bed the argument that we can play a different way/ be more defensive, which would give us a better chance of getting points (we had 5 defenders on here, it didn't work)
Our midfielders were fine last season..3: Further confirms that our midfield three, especially Mowatt, are not good enough
It does not confirm this, if anything it shows that 3-5-2 rarely works if ever snd if it does it is with a full selection of players full fit.. without the need for back up,rest or substitution.4. Further confirms any formations with two in centre mid won't handle any team, as our three cannot handle some of the poor teams
