Positives

Commentary went off for 2 minutes so I didn’t have to listen to Maddo telling me how McNair’s ‘pace’ was the answer.

It’s more minutes under the belt for some of those players who’ve been on the edge of the team this season. That can only be a benefit to everyone.

We’ll if things carry on like this there will be a few new grounds visited next year for those who like to travel.

What’s frustrating is we still haven’t been beaten badly this season - I think every game we have lost there has been one goal in it!

I think the effort was there, the players kept going and tried to make things happen, but there's an obvious crisis in confidence at the moment.

I still think a few wins and things can look very different, confidence is hugely important.

A few positives for me:
1: It puts to bed the argument that we can play a different way/ be more defensive, which would give us a better chance of getting points (we had 5 defenders on here, it didn't work)
2: Good to see Chuba back
3: Further confirms that our midfield three, especially Mowatt, are not good enough (the other two could be ok, if we got in one really good one, like Tav), hopefully this incentivizes the recruiters to pull their finger out, and Gibbo to pull his cheque book out.
4. Further confirms any formations with two in centre mid won't handle any team, as our three cannot handle some of the poor teams
5: It confirmed Howson should not be on any set pieces
6: Further confirmation that we miss Lenihan's leadership
7: Proves how good Gyokeres is, most of us already knew this though
8: Muniz played well, probably could have had a goal but did well to get a couple on target.
9: Jones did well, when he came on
10: Proves we need to get the first goal, or we're in trouble, so we need to play a way that creates the most opportunities to get that first goal

More minutes for the lads on the fringe of the first team last season and our development strikers are really starting to bed in..
