Next game behind closed doors, except for away fans of course.

Points deductions

£1,000 fine per person identified on CCTV

Id be reducing their wembley ticket allocations by 10k per team. Then for next season 1st offense fine and ban the culpirts and next game behind closed doors and if a second offense to the same club then 3 matches behind closed doors.

On another thread covering this subject - there are so many - I said

Hit clubs where it hurts - points deductions and bans . Yes it’s not the clubs fault - but you tell a Man U , Man City , Liverpool , Chelsea et al - your clubs invade pitch , automatic 3 point , 5 point ban - no one is getting onto the pitch

Leaves it wide open to opposition "fans" to attend and invade to get the points deduction for their rivals.

Points deduction simple.
2 or more persons invading the pitch during the game or after the game and it can be shown that players staff or officials have been subjected to verbal or physical harassment and upwards
21 point deduction
Effectively ending all hoped of promotion and probably relegating the clubs
Also the clubs need more money for stewards to put a ring around the perimeter and to prevent fences
I do think fences are the answer now ever....it has to be points to make the clubs control the fans

If it was points deductions, whats to stop 100 leeds fans going in the everton end, running on the pitch to get everton a points deduction? Leaves it wide open.

Just find the culprits.

If i ran on, a single person. They'd use cctv to identity me, they can do that for 500,1000,2000 people it'll just take time but once it happens once and bans and fines come, it'll soon end.

5k automatic fine....... for who ?

Police / stewards need to be increased, and do the job they're paid for.

They didnt do their job at Riverside during Stoke game, did they ?

Try buying tickets for the Everton end and see how easy it is.

Can't even identify a blonde tw@t at a party in Downing Street.

There was another horrendous issue yesterday. A flare was thrown from a higher tier home end down to the lower tier away end at Liverpool v Wolves. Lots of goading when news of City goals filtered through. Anyway, it landed in among fans. Crazy dangerous. Only a matter of time before something really bad happens. I’ll never understand such a set up myself. Asking for trouble. Needs sorting before it escalates further, but we all know football… and its oenchant for hoping it goes away.

As always nothing will happen till it’s too late.

I mean why have a go at the Villa keeper yesterday ffs, City fans should be getting him a squad number as I think he could’ve done better with the city equaliser and it might have been a different game had Villa had their number 1 keeper available.

I get fans running on to the pitch to celebrate this has gone on for years but why now the provocation of the opposing players/staff.

I said tongue in cheek earlier in the week, but if the authorities had any balls they’d kick Forest and Port Vale out of the play offs, award Palace the result against Everton and ultimately strip City of the title as yesterdays game gets awarded to Villa.

Believe me when the same situation arises next season and some coked up wannabe suburban gangster tries to get on the pitch and the team they follow is facing having the game taken away from them, somebody will stop them.

But we’ll wait and either a fan or player will get seriously injured and then everybody will act all shocked and say we could never have seen this coming.

No it doesnt it would only take a very simple investigation to determine where a fan has come from, what their story is have they been to games before and if they are an away fan you pass the punishment to their own club.

Ban each and every moronic little wankstain for life that goes anywhere near the pitch.

That’ll stop it.

Where are they getting more Police and stewards from??

There also certainly isn't the resource to investigate 5,000 fans on a football pitch.

It's very hard to be harsh on clubs, as they basically allow the open pitches to improve safety, and the viewing for fans, so to go heavy handed on clubs seems a bit harsh.

It would be practically impossible for most clubs to get 1000 security staff, to protect the pitch for 5 minutes at the end of the game.

Best course of action to me is to ban fans from their last home game the following season.

Also, I'd just hit the intruders harder.

Run on the pitch: Lifetime ban, for every stadium, no alternatives.
Touch a player/ member of security staff/ club staff: Charged with tresspass or something which will show up on someone's record
Strike a player: Automatic jail time

There should be good enough CCTV to identify which seat each fan has come from, and their faces, or just take everyone's pic who wants a ticket, and check that against a database.

We're getting close to the point where there will have to be permanent fencing around the pitch again, or for last games of the season reducing capacities to take the first 10 rows out of action.

If you look around society now , and this may be brexit / Covid / history repeating Itself / social media / no accountability/ inset other items , but I genuinely think we have almost magically transported ourselves back 50 years to the 1970’s …. And not in a good way .

As for fences those whose memory of Hillsborough burns bright know we should never return to those dark days.
