Ok he didn't socially distance but at least he didn't shake hands with everyone who's contracted the virus, so that's progress.
Soon he might be able to abide by all the rules like a real grown up.
Plus no dom questions to face so its a win win

Dunno I think people are tiring of talking about how useless he is. Maybe it's deliberate.

Similar to the trump approach of if you tell enough lies people will stop caring and even start to believe them.

Maybe Johnson's strategy is to be so consistently useless people will stop caring and some may even start to believe this is what competence looks like after all.
 
Forget all the noise and day to day events (the lockdowns, the messaging, the shortages of PPE, the schools/exam issues, the trip to Barnard Castle etc etc) the two most important measures of any Government's performance over this year is the number of deaths and following on from this the severity of the economic hit.

To some extent these two factors might be thought to be negatively correlated - a Government could focus on dealing with one well at the expense of the other.

Johnson's Government has performed very badly on both measures when you look at other similar countries. The number of deaths is the highest in Europe (and 3rd as % of population) and the % reduction in GDP is the highest in Europe.

People are not being too harsh on Johnson, they are not being anything like harsh enough.
 
News coming out of No 10 apparently Johnson has tested negative using a 'quickie test'
But said he will be isolating for the full 14 days
Wonder why? Not as though there's a lot going on this next two weeks.
 
If Cummings had the stand up row with him on Friday that many 'witnesses' have leaked out, why wasn't he in isolation as well?

That's only because everyone will flood onto the thread to take part in the daily sporting activity of "Bash The Tory" once the alarm is raised I have appeared. Like the Bat Signal lighting up the FMTTM sky :devilish:
