Payero

I hope so but id be surprised. Not as if he has pulled up any trees since he has been back. He's been OK but that might not be enough for Carrick to want to persevere with him.

I think he will now we might trade him in janaury again to south America if he doesn't get involved much

Not sure it will be that easy to move him on.

Looking at him during pre match warm up and when he arrived at the ground, he looked distant, and does not mix with the other players at all.
Not speaking much English doesn't help.

looks likely he will be shuffled out if a deal can be done ..... His performance and attitude during his last game for the club (U23 match) finished him for me ....

Slightly better than De Pena?

I’d totally forgotten about the De Pena fiasco but hey he found a home in Brazil with Nacional and seems to have found a career— good for him. Payero probably going down the same route with his so called Boro career.

Let’s face it seems he (Payero) just couldn’t adapt either through lack of commitment or perhaps he couldn’t handle the culture change, which probably go hand in hand.

Not many South Americans playing in the UK, not as many as there used to be — anything to do with too many failed projects, diminishing returns from Latins? Maybe that’s why Messi avoided England?
