Needs to cut out the silly fouls though no need for that challenge he got booked for.Showed some nice touches for me
He had a great second half but the game did pass him by for a lot of the game. He needs the confidence to impose himself a bit more. I don't think he played much differently to how he had in the majority of his games up until about 60 minutes into the game. All I’ve wanted since we signed is to see him in his natural position.
today we did
And look what happened
I’d agree he was quiet in first half but dreadful for 85 mins really.I honestly thought he was dreadful for 85 minutes of the game.
When did Coburn come on? He started to come out of his shell around then. Before that he looked completely lost, he looked like a rank amateur. Nice little moves further up the pitch.I’d agree he was quiet in first half but dreadful for 85 mins really.
come on
I thought Tav was great.Thought him and Tav linked up well and will only get better.
I think the improvement occurred about the time Tav moved into the centre, prior to that he was like a lost sheep. You could see how much Payero's assist meant to him, hopefully that's a monkey off his backWhen did Coburn come on? He started to come out of his shell around then. Mot sure what it was? Did the occasion get the better of him? Genuine schoolboy errors, really frustrating. Credit to Warnock for sticking with him and for making the call to pull off Sporar for Coburn.
I didn't see his game that way. He wasn't great in the first half but he really picked up in the second half and seemed much more comfortable on the ball. When did Coburn come on? Oh yeah, I really felt for the kid. His reaction after the goal showed how much it meant to him. After the final whistle he dropped to his knees and looked like he was in tears. Looked like he was genuinely having a moment.I think the improvement occurred about the time Tav moved into the centre, prior to that he was like a lost sheep. He looked like he was playing a bit further forward in the 2nd half. Still poor.. but not the car crash of the first half. Mad how different folks see the game/players differently. The guy who sits behind me was kicking off about Tavernier!! Saying he was crap?!?!I didn't see his game that way. Agreed but why the need to point out his individual failings/errors? Plenty of other players made far worse errors but nothing was said.I'm sure he gets plenty of encouragement adi. One thing I took from the post-match presser which I've just watched was that his partner has come over this week, which can only be good news.
