Over 26,000 tickets sold for millwall

Yep - just seen that the club expect at least 30k.

Maybe the family end is sold out and corporate sales are higher than I thought and Millwall have sold out.

There are around 1250 tickets left on the club website at present.

If the crowd record for an opening championship crowd (29,400) is broken it would be a record I definitely thought I would never see for this game. I was expecting around 27,500 a few weeks ago, now I will say 28,500 by KO.

Millwall had sold only 850 .
So huge swathes of empty seats all around them.

Hospitality is sold out online.

The club have spent a few bob refurbishing the Middlehaven, Fenton, Legends, and Directors' Guests lounge, which suggests uptake has increased off the back of last season.

There were 2451 tickets remaining when the club announced 26,000+ had been sold.

1183 remaining online at my last count, plus the extra 266 released in B54, would put the current total at 27,500+ minimum.

Great crowd that isn't it?
Looking forward to dropping in to see the Boro Shirt Museum boys at Bloom next to the railway station. Somewhere I have never been - open from 11am apparently.
It is just the wet and windy forecast that is the worrying thing.

Is Bloom now a designated away pub?
Seem to remember Coventry fans being put in there last season.

I'll be there. This is kind of how I feel, trying to get excited about Silvera, McGree, Jones and Forss v Millwall when it could have been Man City first game with Ramsey, Akpom, Giles, Archer and a few others.

Come on Boro

Only around 1,000 left.

I would buy your tickets tonight if anyone wants to go, who hasn't a ticket.

South Stand and South East corner is down to 6 tickets in total.

Taking into account corporate sold out for this game must be 28k plus sold now, with over 500 sold today.

They will bring a 1000, they had sold over 900 this morning and there a be few who turnup without tickets who the police don't want hanging around outside the stadium and will get put in. It's not a bad turnout, there is train issues and there is probably very few who live up here unlike when we play down there, when we take 2000 probably half are from the south east.

Millwall have a passionate home support but have never travelled well outside of London.
When we play in London most of our support has a Teesside accent.

We normally sell 1600 for Millwall - OK 500 will be London/Southern based - half with posh Teesside accents.

I don't think there is a train strike tommorow.

1,000 would be acceptable as reasonable for Millwall, some seasons they have brought only 400.

Not all Millwall support is from SE London - there is one fan in Saltburn!
