George Millar....was going to be the next goalscoring superstar hero, bought from Bury then loaned right back because he was *****. Now I've watched Ozark, I suspect it was a money-laundering operation :D

I was looking at the likes of Charlie Bell, Andrew Strong, David Brown and Harry Charlton...was surprised they played as many games as they did

Jamie Cade, Brian Close and Craig Dove? All came on at Ipswich in the League Cup in 2002/03. Not sure if any of them made another Boro appearance.

Alex Baptiste came to mind. Injured 20 minutes into his first game, never played for us again. Was only a friendly though.

On our books for 2 years, I think.

That's his name..! I've just googled him. Turns out Mickael Debeve had 4 apps for Boro but his only start was in the FA Cup Semi vs Arsenal. Seems mental that his only full app was in such a huge game as opposed to most of the rest of the names on this thread.
