Noel Clarke

Now that 20 women have come out and accused him would you employ him? And if so, why? And if the accusations are false will he be taking legal action against these accusers?

If you did employ him what would you say to the 20 women?

Yes, but 20 different people have come forward and made similiar allegations . He's not officially guilty, but career over I think.

He's denied all the Guardian allegations put to him bar one.

This is why women are so reluctant to call this stuff out in the TV and film industry as they're never believed. 20 different women have made allegations that are remarkably similar in nature, if I was his employer I'd be calling time on it as well.

Unbelievable turn around by BAFTA as only 2 weeks ago they knew about all of this yet still gave Clarke the award, now they're giving it the big one.

I used to work in TV and women are treated like absolute crap by some blokes, the more of them who are empowered to call this stuff out and are supported to do so the better in my eyes.

I guess as already stated its 20 women. If it was 1 you'd think 'his word against hers' or maybe they don't get on etc.

20 women.... I think it's pretty much a giver he's guilty of something. I doubt they will all stand up.

One things for sure his career is in tatters. I do 'laugh' at all the females on twitter wanting the book thrown at him before being proven guilty. They are probably the same ones tweeting #bekind last year.

It’s not the fact he is guilty or innocent.. I am not privy to any submitted evidence so have no idea.

it’s the fact that a man (or woman) can be presumed guilty and their name dragged through the gutter before a shred of evidence is given or even before police involvement.

if he is guilty the law will deal with him and he will be punished

if he is innocent then his career and life is ruined.

God forbid but what would the press be printing if the guy tops himself tomorrow?

you've read the guardian article that exposed all this though? Otherwise you wouldn't be commenting on it surely?

20 women have given detailed accounts of his actions, all of which are remarkably similar, how much evidence does one need?

Where was the evidence against Jimmy Saville, Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein? Nowhere to be seen until similarly a few people came out and made their voices heard.

Its seems that you won't get any evidence these days unless you encourage people to come forward in great numbers by spreading the message that they are not alone. I would be surprised if more people don't come forward now.

i was enjoying viewpoint even it was a bit cliched, the female lead is excellent i suppose it will be pulled tonight.

Yet no police involvement over a month since the allegations and a man who strongly denies any wrong doing.

Like I said, I don't know if he is innocent or guilty.... it just seems wrong that he is being named and shamed for something that hasnt been proven

Sexual harrassment is not necessarily an illegal activity, but companies treat activities at a different level and take appropriate actions they believe to be relevant to their business. Sexual assault is illegal.

He appears to have admitted one that one of the allegations took place, but he later apologised.

Its the women I feel sorry for to be honest, he's a bloke of real influence and power in the TV and film industry and he's quite obviously used that position to take advantage of women. I'm not sure how you could read the guardian article on this with the witness accounts and not see he's a total wrong'n. Unless you think they're all making it up, which if we're being totally honest you clearly do.

I'm still assuming you've read the guardian article, but as you didn't answer that question I'm starting to think my assumption gives you a bit too much credit.

The allegations in the Guardian would 100% result in a police investigation... For example voyeurism

I have read the article, I do believe them to be accurate...

My personal feelings towards him or the women are not the point I am making

He hasn't been arrested, or charged or found guilty of any crimes yet so he is thus innocent until proven guilty.

You have just made a judgement. The Guardian reports 20 cases of sexual harrassment.
No I havent. The Guardian Specifically mention in the first case that he is accused of filming someone naked without their knowledge or consent...
