Next England Manager

I think Gareth will stay on… we will be at least semi/final and he will give it one last shot.

If we go out early it’s a different perspective, I don’t think that will happen

Somebody with a winning mentality whos brave enough to play players who are performing in the here and now and not for what they've done in the past. It wouldnt surprise me to see Henderson and Phillips start CM

I think Howe is a strong contender. Regardless of the Newcastle transfer funds available, he has had some of their players looking like a different man altogether than under Bruce and even Gordon looks to have improved since they signed him.

Potter might well go for it once his Chelsea money dries up and he's free to look elsewhere and I think he would be the first choice of the FA.

Howe and Potter (Guardiola too - in fact, most successful modern managers) rely on being with their players everyday in order to mould and shape them over months and seasons. To have them 24/7 to instill ways of playing etc.

Would the next England manager have his player enough to do this only seeing them for one week every so often?

agree, howe's strengths are (thus far) very different to what is seemingly required as national manager. he is a nurturer, a developer of needier players. I'd always thought someone like arsene wenger would have been good. someone who is very comfortable with top level players, foreign footy & gets the best out of them. terry venables was the best example for me.

I’d like to see Gareth stay on if I’m honest. I suppose it all depends on what the F.A count as a successful Euros campaign.

The hype is already building up, seen numerous articles and tweets saying “How does this team not win the Euro’s” and all that B.S. Merson came out and said only 2 French players get in our team, utterly ridiculous.
