He is class, I know he's made a few mistakes before but they're mainly because Pep is a pass at all costs manager. While we do like to play out from the back there will be times where he's told to just lump it.

Howard, Guzan, Friedel and Keller were all quite good, and much better than what we had last year, so this could be a good signing.

Guzan is one of the worst keepers I’ve seen in a Boro shirt - truly dreadful in fact

They do.

Reminds me when I lived in Baltimore and played for a 'Soccer' team. One of my team mates, he was born with a hand defect, he only had a middle finger and thumb on his right hand. He loved sports as a child, but obviously couldn't hold a baseball bat well, had problems throwing and catching an american football, and had to play left handed at basketball which limited him. Anyway, as a 14 year old he excitedly rushed him from school and declared......."I've been picked for the soccer team!!". His parents were thrilled. "What position are you? midfield or striker?"...."No, goalkeeper" 🤦‍♂️ Unbelievable! Anyway he'd play in goal for us, 3 fingers flapping in the wind, good shot stopper but nearly as bad as Lumley at catching. Great lad though, he even had a catch phrase related to his disability "chicks love the claw" :ROFLMAO:
 
One thing I learn every transfer window is how few players outside of Boro I have actually heard of.

Liam Roberts - never heard of him.
Ryan Giles - vaguely aware but might be confusing him with someone else.
Darragh Lenihan - only became aware last season.
Zak Steffen - never heard of him.

I reckon 80% of the players linked with us I couldn't pick out of an identity parade. I consider I am relatively interested in football, but I surprise myself how little I actually know. Maybe its my age.

you must have forgotten brad jones was no2 for liverpool and ross turbull was no2 for chelsea, it doesnt mean ****,. hopefully he will be good ,but every loan we have had from man city over the last few years havent stepped up to the mark.
