Never seen a keeper flat footed so many times

I thought Steve Pears had many good years with us? Can’t remember anyone getting on his back.
Jim Platt seemed well regarded too.
Randolph leaving us was heartbreaking- the only one of our recent ‘galacticos’ who paid off…..his great form meant we had to sell him😲

Probably had to sell him to cover the wages of the bellend brothers Assombolonga & Fletcher. Grrrr

We tend to have to go through three or four keepers until we get a good one. By my reckoning Sol Brynn will be the next big thing in a couple of seasons:)

I remember Pearsy giving the greatest ever display by a Boro goalie, away to Cambridge. It was a night match and they had Dion Dublin upfront. Pears was unbeatable, just a shame Uwe hijacked his testimonial!

The best keeping display I've seen was pears Vs Leicester at home when he seemed to save 5 or 6 certain goals from a young Kevin Campbell. Too young to Remember but I am pretty certain Jim platt was universally loved as well.

There ya go Glover, just for you!

Although some on here would still say he should've saved the penalty!

Dimi received very little critiscm also. I do remember a couple of clangers late on in the promotion season.

The worst I've seen was bettinelli. Shots seemed to go through him as though he was an ethereal being.

I think he's now on the bench for Chelsea.
