Can you recommend decent scandi detective stuff? I've watched the bridge and the killing and like the genre

Occupied - Not a detective one, but political thriller. Series 3 was withheld for a while in UK as was around the time of the Russian poisonings and maybe thought a bit too close to the truth?

Thanks! I’ll certainly give them a try. Occupied sounds interesting. As someone who was in Salisbury at the time of the Russian poisoning the whole thing was fascinating. If that has a similar plot I’ll check it out

err Occupied maybe not what you think!

The series depicts a fictional near future in which, due to catastrophic environmental events, Norway's Prime Minister has stopped the country's oil and gas production. Russia, with support from the European Union, occupies Norway to restore its oil and gas production, in response to a Europe-wide energy crisis.

It's done in a way where you think it could happen as Russia moves into Norway and slowly takes over the country by political stealth with EU backing. The incumbent Prime Minister tries to fight back but has to go underground. Fascinating watch.
