Just had an email from them "your new plan price is increasing to 13.99 a month"
Well they certainly made it easy to make my mind up on cancelling!

13.99 is cheap for what they provide
Compared to my fifty quid or whatever for Virgin TV

I love Netflix, especially since they've expanded to the RoW. There's some really good Aussie stuff and loads of Spanish series
I'm not sure why we cant have all the American content, but I'm pretty sure we can all get that anyway

And thumbs up to Amazon, I only got it for quick deliveries but there's the odd gem there too

I’m cancelling all my stuff and hope SKy offer me a decent package . I’m paying too much right now for sky, bt, Netflix and Amazon .

I'm about to cancel my Virgin package. 85 quid for TV and internet, and both are rubbish (about 30MB download speed for my 200MB cost)

Just pondering who to go to next for my broadband. I'm going Freeview and a cheap recording box for TV

Had a Netflix account since 2012 and probably watched more in the last 9 months than I have in the last 8 years. Recently upgraded to the 4K plan, wish I had done if sooner!

I don't mind the increase. Its roughly what I pay for a TV licence and i can count one hand the things I watch on BBC (that includes radio and podcasts before someone tells me it's great value😉).

The biggest value for money in terms of content is YouTube. I recieved 3 months free premium through Samsung and now its expired I've started paying £11.99 a month. I simply could go back to adverts and you can also download and watch offline.

I should probably stream back (excuse the pun) on some TV providers. I'm paying for YouTube premium / sky / TV licence and Amazon😂. I think amazon TV content is the poorest but its great for the 'free' delivery (especially during these times).

I would definitely recommend YouTube premium as you'll never go back once add free.

I'll be cancelling if mine goes up to that, I only really get value from it because it's so cheap. Only thing I've watched on it since March is Anthony Bourdain (fascinating show), there's so much rubbish and cheap nonsense on there that makes up about 90% of the library. Prime Video is even worse or at least the Spanish version that I have access to is.

Apart from the odd how to video I never watch anything on YouTube at all.
I have Netflix through sky think it costs me about £8 maybe £9 a month on top for standard which is a little bit cheaper but not much

On UK Prime at least theres a considerable amount of Anthony Bourdain content. Have a look if its on over there because the shows are much better!

Netflix and Prime, when compared to what Sky offers, is excellent value and I'm only, surprised it's taken this long for Netflix to increase their charges.

The football is the only thing I would miss from Sky, which I'm watching less and less of anyway and the only live games I watch a full 90 minutes of are the Boro ones.

Prime also does premier league matches, not the nu,ber that sky or bt have, but I have watched a few on there over the last couple of weeks.

I think Amazon have shown their scheduled amount of games for this season as they only had the rights for two full rounds of fixtures. Anymore will depend on the PL being generous to them and giving them bonus games whilst Covid continues. So you might get a game or two if you are lucky a month.

It's Netflix or nothing for me. Can't think of the last time I watched anything on terrestrial tv. Apart from the BBC Scandi dramas, I never watch. Netflix is great value IMHO.
