Netflix

Its life these days that we seem to accept massive price hikes in relative terms, when we as bottom feeders accept 2% maybe 3% wage rises if we are lucky. And if The Midnight Sky is the best we gonna get in the next year they can stick it.

Is this the french thing Northerner, and what is good about it? I thought it looked a little... boring I suppose.

Yes it's set in a Paris. I thought maybe wasn't my thing as first but once you got into the characters and their clients I found it absorbing and funny.
I'm normally a scandi detective watcher, so found this a different genre but really enjoying it as light relief!

Cool ill give it a go. I am watching stranger at the minute quite absorbing and British drama which I quite like as it tends to be grittier than us drama.

The Stranger is quite fun but the really bad acting spoils it a bit, same with the other Harlan Coben adaption Safe.

If you want grit, try Spiral on BBC2 - French detective series set in Paris. Series 8 has just started but they're all on iPlayer
Just watched season 7 again as a catch up before the final season 8. Excellent series from beginning to end.

I'll be cancelling if mine goes up to that, I only really get value from it because it's so cheap. Only thing I've watched on it since March is Anthony Bourdain (fascinating show), there's so much rubbish and cheap nonsense on there that makes up about 90% of the library. Prime Video is even worse or at least the Spanish version that I have access to is.
Yeh I'm probably going to cancel both Netflix and Prime. Goliath on Prime is brilliant but that's about it really. The Terror wasn't too bad either.

Have you tried Stan? Any good?

Virgin have just emailed me saying my package is going up £3.50 a month. As I was only paying £37 that's almost a 10% increase.

I’ve just binned it. Hardly watched anything new on it since the first lockdown began.

can someone let me know when the whole of the final series of Better Call Saul is on there? So I can sign up with a different email address and binge it in the free month trial 👍

We must be able to access some American tv channel website with a vpn .
Maybe I need to Re-evaluate my life if i need to watching so much TV 😆

Netflix prices tend to go up every 2 years but it’s still good value and they are spending a lot more on content than they have previously to justify it. With cinemas looking doomed, they will get more Hollywood exclusives than ever

Want aware of this but you are right. Amazon only showing 1 upcoming game now wham v Burnley
Ridgeley is going to have to be top of his game, George Micheal is very immobile these days. I fancy a Burnley win, 1-0 (Ben Mee in a goalmouth scramble, Ridgeley clearance hitting him on the aris and rebounding in). Lump on.

I did notice the obvious, but unintended pun in my post straight away, I am just surprised someone else noticed it. GM very immobile these days!:D

Can you recommend decent scandi detective stuff? I've watched the bridge and the killing and like the genre
