Thats a big ask of someone. It seems to be stuck up her 4r$e most of the time. One Tory MP last night demanded that someone remove her phone from her.
It's not really frightening or a revelation. It's always been the way. It's the same for Labour as well albeit funding sources are different. Labour policies are heavily influenced by members and unions. It is less dodgy because they tend to be things that benefit many and we agree with those people (at times). Individual rich donors has always been the Tory way.She as good as admitted yesterday that party donors shape Party (Government) policy. So that is why so much Russian money flooded into their coffers over the past few years. That is a frightening revelation.
Anybody who admits to being bought is corrupt so I’m not surprised if it “remains an open secret”. And it is a very bad thing. Dorries on the other hand has in her unique way blown “the secret” up in her own face. It's not really frightening or a revelation. It's always been the way. Politicians representing funders and not voters has always been an open secret. It's not a particularly bad thing because we have the option of not voting for a party that has policies decided by a few rich individuals. The problem is people voting for those parties when it isn't in their interest.
There is a big difference between donors and favourable policies and corruption where contracts etc are handed out illegitimately. Of course donors will pull funding if the government are bringing in taxes that will directly impact them for example, like I'd expect unions to pull funding if Labour removed the right to unionise etc.Anybody who admits to being bought is corrupt so I’m not surprised if it “remains an open secret”. I genuinely feel that you are being far too kind.I don't like to insult people, but she really is a vacuous moron.
