Nadine Dorries

I'd say she she goes beyond "awful minister" and suggest she's just an awful person or at least one who I'd have no common ground with.

She as good as admitted yesterday that party donors shape Party (Government) policy. So that is why so much Russian money flooded into their coffers over the past few years. That is a frightening revelation.
It's not really frightening or a revelation. It's always been the way. It's the same for Labour as well albeit funding sources are different. Labour policies are heavily influenced by members and unions. It is less dodgy because they tend to be things that benefit many and we agree with those people (at times). Individual rich donors has always been the Tory way.

Politicians representing funders and not voters has always been an open secret. It's not a particularly bad thing because we have the option of not voting for a party that has policies decided by a few rich individuals. The problem is people voting for those parties when it isn't in their interest.

Anybody who admits to being bought is corrupt so I’m not surprised if it “remains an open secret”. And it is a very bad thing. Dorries on the other hand has in her unique way blown “the secret” up in her own face.

There is a big difference between donors and favourable policies and corruption where contracts etc are handed out illegitimately. Of course donors will pull funding if the government are bringing in taxes that will directly impact them for example, like I'd expect unions to pull funding if Labour removed the right to unionise etc.

Donations have to be declared so are at least transparent. I'm not doubting that there is corruption within government, we know there is, but I don't think this revelation falls under that category.

Can anyone tell me what Dorris stands for or believes?

All I ever hear from her is culture war rhetoric and her petty crusade against C4 for daring to show the world what she really is.

Another politician who's sole aim in life is self advancement and enrichment. Her doe eyes at Boris whenever she's around him is also laughable. I don't like to insult people, but she really is a vacuous moron.

You can't watch a single interview she's ever done with anything other than disdain at best.
She's just full on thick and gets anything of substance fully wrong.
And yet she'll still get back in.
Says more about the state of our democracy than it does her.

She's on borrowed time, and she knows it. Master of the OG, and shooting her boss in the foot at every opportunity.

Having realised he has over promoted her beyond her capability, Bunter just doesn't know how to sideline her which is a massive problem for him.

Thankfully for us, she will be carried away by the same flush that takes Lardy boy.

Until then she will be the comedy gift that will keep on giving. I hope she gets called to give evidence in the Covid enquiry, given that she knows so much about how the Tory government were negligent in their pandemic planning. She loves a Inquiry. Brings out the very best in her.
