That's what they do. Always. There'll be a dodgy graph without a proper scale in their leaflet as well, I'll wager. They have been in third place in every election for many years - sometimes by miles - but have been pretending they were continually second and that any other non tory vote is wasted. Naughty Lib Dems.
Who cares, as long as the Tories lose..been pretending they were continually second and that any other non tory vote is wasted. Naughty Lib Dems.
Is there usually an exit poll for a by-election?We can hope ferg. We should get some idea from exit polls just afterr 10pm tonight
Labour came second in the last time round, should they not be given a free shot?Labour didn't campaign to give the lib dems a free shot. I hope they all do this in the next ge.
Bang on Capybara A canvasser knocked on my door and I’m always respectful to them whoever they are but I questioned him saying the Lib Dems were second line and he lied totally about the general election. He was so convincing I had to look it up after he left. That's what they do. Always. There'll be a dodgy graph without a proper scale in their leaflet as well, I'll wager.

They are quite simply unelectable in any way shape or form .Labour came second in the last time round, should they not be given a free shot?
They are quite simply unelectable in any way shape or form .
And why would that be in your considered opinion? Genuinely interested. They are quite simply unelectable in any way shape or form .
No, because I think they came second due to offerring another referendum, though I don't know for cerrtain, but that is what I heard from a political commentator.Labour came second in the last time round, should they not be given a free shot?
True non the less .So original.
I would assume that there is enough interest in this for there to be one. More often than not, you are right there isn't.betting seems to have stabilised now 1.6 v 2.6 lib-dems and tories, respectivelyIs there usually an exit poll for a by-election?
True non the less .
They also came second in 2010, 2015 and 2017.No, because I think they came second due to offerring another referendum, though I don't know for cerrtain, but that is what I heard from a political commentator.
No connect with the electorate , policies vague at best , leader as charismatic as the Aldi Crimbo carrot , legacy of Momentum and Corybn , u want more ?And why would that be in your considered opinion? Genuinely interested.
Yes I saw that, but was a pretty even split before then. To be honest I would assume, under normal circumstances, that tory voters are more likely to switch to lib-dem than labour. They also came second in 2015 and 2017.
They don't normally have exit polls for by elections.I may be wrong but I believe exit polls can't be published until after the polling is closed.
They came second in 97, 01 and 05.Yes I saw that, but was a pretty even split before then. To be honest I would assume, under normal circumstances, that tory voters are more likely to switch to lib-dem than labour.
When the lib-dems wgot into bed with Cameron, it ruined them for quite some time. As I say, I heard Phil... something or other talking about this and he seemed to think that lib dems had a better chance than labour and wanted labour to step aside, and he is a staunch labour man.
The channel if you are interested is a different bias.
