Maybe he was the fella Chris Wilder was talking about when he said something along the lines of we where after a player who was recently playing in the Championship but the other club wanted too much for him, but now some kind of compromise has been made. 99.9% sure its not but the thought is a good one.

I don't think they'd have quoted us £25m for him.
 
He’d get the same chance as last season loans . Who ever is more prolific would probably start more . Not sure coburn will get the same game time but may return the same goal return based on last season
 
There's a lot 9f comments on this thread about whether Wilder would want him. I'm 99% sure Wilder will give approval on anyone we bring in, but a recruitment team needs to identify players who fit the criteria the manager needs. It's not just about the manager identifying players he wants, otherwise there's no point in a recruitment team
 
I'd be excited by this, as said earlier he's had a year to acclimatise we can reap the benefit. I also think Coburn will have more of a part to play this season. For a tall lad he has some flashes of real quality. If anyone needs to see what he can do it's all on show in the Chelsea game in the build up to the chance he had which the keeper saves. Hold up play, movement, intelligence, pace, balance and was unlucky with the shot. He either needs to play more with us or go out on loan, but we can't hold him back, he needs to develop.
 
I’d be happy with this, but there isn’t a sniff of it in any of the media/click bait gossip columns. Is it really likely we’ve had him up at Rockliffe or are genuinely interested in him, and nobody has picked up on it? I hope so.
 
As mentioned there is nothing on the main stream media about this - all articles relate to last year when Fulham beat us to his signature. Let’s see, could be an interesting addition to the promotion winning team jigsaw.
 
I can see it because I can't see Fulham relying on him heavily in the prem... whether he comes here though is another matter entirely but he does have a stoner link from our previous interest however we've already been burned by payero a little bit, so would be another punt to take for a buy. A loan with an option to buy would make sense; rather try that then balogun type signings

Kind of like he’s ditched a bird for another one and she’s found a new lad, so he’s starting like the previous ones instagram photos hoping she’ll take him back.
 
I wondered a few times how he was getting on at Fulham last season, dis we avoid a bullet, or miss out on a gem?

He scored a few goals, decent goal to game ratio, but didn't play a great deal either.

I'm 100% sure we will have watched him very closely in the games he did play, so the club will have an informed view on this, much more than last summer.
