Muniz not coming on.

He's not been very good. Wouldn't say there was any more to it than that. Would be nice to see hoppe get some minutes.
To be honest I'd be perfectly happy to see him go back to Fulham. Akpom is the original "like a new player" at the minute. Hoppe and Forss we've spent money on so let's give them minutes. And watmore is one of our best and most effective players.

I don’t know the contractual clauses but we could send back

Muniz - ok but I don’t think he’s a goal scorer. Coburn back

Stefan - obviously a very good keeper. But is he that much better than the other two that we can’t sacrifice Stefan and bring in a box to box MF /Winger / forward

Mowatt. Never gonna play

Yeah I’m not having Crooks as a striker like, hope that’s the end of that experiment. Forss should have stayed on, he caused fear in their defence. Hope we keep sticking with him

Looked decent when he first came in but has been poor in recent weeks. His all round game isn't great but he has looked ok finishing. No point developing someone else's players though so get rid of all the loans and replace them with permanent signings.

Loans should only be used in an emergency or to "complete the jigsaw".

Forss ran his chebs off and I thought he was unlucky with a couple of his attempts on goal. His energy and pressing set the tone for the performance.

Strange one to see Crooks up front, I've only ever seen it before in an emergency, last 5 minutes and we need a goal so get the big man up front. He's not a striker and if I was Muniz or Hoppe I'd be hacked off tonight.

I really liked the look of him before we signed him and he started brightly looking a level above what we had, however after the first few games he does looks like quite an ordinary (albeit tidy) championship player.

Maybe if he got some confidence or form inside him he could be a good player. Never thought I’d be choosing Akpom above Muniz!

I don't know about bringing Coburn back but I think Hoppe needs a loan in Jan if hes not getting a look in.

I was expecting so much more from muniz where he's failed Akpom is making up for it .I still believe muniz can go on a decent run in the team at some point.

Muniz clearly has a lot of ability - whether we see that’s develop here is another matter. I think he needs someone playing off him. He’d probably form a good understanding with Juninho if he was still playing. Let’s not forget he’s 21 and still learning what it’s all about here

I tend to agree. They’re also a good way to have a longer look at players you might have a chance at bringing in on a permanent, like Bamford.

But if you’re not getting relegated and definitely not going to be in the mix for promotion, there’s absolutely no point in loan players. If we send Steffen back and finish 16th rather than 12th it makes no difference.

Develop your own players and save the money. I’d keep Giles like, because we don’t have a left sided player.

I'm glad some are actually saying he's simply not that good. The clammer on here to bring him in over the summer was strange at best.

Based on? Well frankly nothing as he hardly had a kick last season. I guess it's because he's young and Brazilian 😂

The best thing that happened is that we didn't buy him and he chose Fulham. That would have been 7mil and a big 4 year deal down the pan. Although you have to question the powers that be who identified him.

Just looks way to 'raw'. That's being polite. You can't be a project at 7mil.

I imagine around 1mil+ loan fee and paying 15-20k a week for him. Only made up figures but probably not far off. That could definitely be better spent in Jan.

I'd rather we developed Coburn. I never really got the sending him out on loan to get games. It's not like he was bit part for us. Always involved until the arrival of Connally and Balogun. The less we say about those 2 the better.

You have to say we've had a transfer shocker again up top. Muniz / Hoppe and Forss. The have not improved us one bit. The one standout forward is the one we wanted shot of and didn't take on the pre season tour😂. Oh and Watmore is Watmore. Just keeps seeing off other forwards probably brought in to replace him. Give him a new deal.

Absolutely. Muniz feels a bit like a panic loan after we missed a whole series of 'marquee' strikers. Looks like with Akpom playing a 9.5 role that he needs a speedy forward to play with rather than a target man. I suspect we'll see a lot more of Watmore and Forss in that role. I also believe that Hoppe might be better in Akpom's 9.5 role than playing with him. I don't think Coburn or Muniz will fit comfortably into this system.

I think Carrick is trying to use a minimum number of players to get the foundations built but it feels like he risks driving Akpom into the ground if he's not careful. Certainly turning to Crooks rather than a forward is a sign that Carrick really hasn't liked what he's seen of Muniz and Hoppe so far.

I think it makes sense to keep Steffen for the season and give Brynn and Hemmings a whole season to prove their worth. Assuming we don't get promoted, one of those will be sold and one will vie with Roberts for 1st choice.
