MSF Chair Standing Down

Absolutely no need. Just highlights the number of absolute fooking doyle's out there, unable to have a rational informed debate.

I didn't know what the MSF did. How they operated.......but no need to abuse some fella just trying to do what he thought was the right thing.

Saddens me sh*t like this. ☹️
 
Whilst a lot of us hold very strong views on recent ticket pricing etc, to have received personal abuse and some of it "on the street" is totally unacceptable. I know it will be a tiny minority of people, but the fella did this in his own time with the best of intentions - no wonder he's stepped down.
 
Mark's a sound lad that's always done his best for the club and for the fans. This is a such a bad reflection on our fan base and is such a disappointing thing to hear. Wish him the best going forward.

That's shocking, absolutely awful state of affairs. We've all voiced our opinions over the last week or so, but when it becomes personal it's clearly gone too far.
 
It's a secondary issue really but Mark really has put in a LOT of work that has gone unseen. Much of that has been parlaying between Gibson, the MSF and Red Faction. He's held together, as best he can, a tower of playing cards. I'm very worried about the situation at the club, more so after hearing this news.

The football clubs poor communication didn't bring this on, the lack of civility from certain people brought it on and they should own that, not the club. They don't get a get out clause for their own behaviour.

I think the blame lies squarely with those individuals that cannot control their own behaviour.

Sorry Rob but sometimes the club have to take responsibility. Not for people giving people abuse. For hanging people like Mark our to dry. They use MSF as a front. Get out there and own their own standpoint. Get Gibson to do a video on the website telling us as it is and why our prices need to be so high and our commercial operation is so bad

eh? You seem to be giving people a get out clause for being abusive. The club haven't communicated well, but that's absolutely no excuse for anyone to abuse Mark, not in the slightest or Rob on here to be quite honest. This is entirely on the people that can't behave civil
 
I do think ther needs to be a bigger communications forum for certain topics.

Having a forum of 12 or so representatives (to represent 29,000 Boro fans) is not valid for a ticket price debate and sows the seeds for the type of abusive behaviour aimed at fans in the forum group.
