Mowatt Official

Think he will start tomorrow. I don't think our CM 3 have looked right since Tav left.

I'm not sure he's 'like for like' with Tav. Then again can't think of anyone available who is. That's why he's such a big miss (despite many saying he's not all that).

£5 to score from outside the box if he starts 😂

I know quite a few people on here have criticised McGree of late, but I think you lose somthing if you take him out of that midfield. I agree he's not as "solid" as Mowatt, Howson or Crooks, but he is creative and plays forward. If you have too many safe options in the middle we become predictable as we have done in previous seasons. I personally think the criticism of him has been very harsh. There is a player in there finding his feet and I think will continue to improve.

Over the moon with this signing. I'd throw him straight in tomorrow for McGree and either go with McGree as a second striker, or go with Akpom and Forss as the front two.

Thought he looked a great prospect at Leeds and slightly surprised that he hasn't gone on to be a regular Premier League player, he'll give us excellent set piece delivery, energy, balance and vision in midfield, very pleased with him as a signing and a loan with an option to buy seems sensible given his recent operation.

I'll be honest here, I've never heard of the player before, yet talking to a few Boro fans last night at my mates 60th, they were singing his praises, which brings me to the question, if he's that good, then why are our championship rivals loaning him to us, potentially giving us the chance to strengthen our team

Was very good against us a few years ago under Woodgate. We lost away to Barnsley and he and Cauley Woodrow were the standout players.

He's slipped down the pecking order a bit after groin injury that required surgery and they need to free up wages to bring in a striker with Dike's injury.
