They might not have been willing to sell, or their asking price was too much.

He'll be in the last year of his contract next summer if he impresses.

I think the attitude is really important to Wilder, it can make a massive difference, I expect he's spoken to another couple of managers about him unless he knows him well already.

Seems a good loan to me, even better if it has a buy option.

I don't think there is one. I think it's something along the lines of no more than 7 in the match day squad though.

I think we'll probably have no more than two more loans.

Not sure what I think of this as a signing as I don't ever remember having any strong opinion on the player whenever I've seen him play. But he's experienced at this level and plays in a position we're desperate for numbers in.
